Send and Manage Offers

Last Updated: September 2026

Sending an offer

From an application, you can draft an offer for the jobseeker, including an optional offer letter and a message and choose how many days it stays valid for before sending it.

What the jobseeker sees

Once sent, the jobseeker can view your offer and either accept or decline it. If they decline, they're asked to give a reason, which you'll see.

Declining an offer closes that offer, but it does not automatically mark the application as Rejected. You can send another offer or continue with another outcome for the application.

Offer expiry

If a jobseeker doesn't respond within the validity period you set, the offer expires automatically and can no longer be accepted or declined.

An expired offer does not automatically mark the application as Rejected. You can send another offer or continue with another outcome for the application.

Hiring before a decision

You can move an application straight to Hired even while an offer is still pending a response. Doing so automatically closes the pending offer, since the application has already been hired.

Rejecting an application with a pending offer

Rejecting an application automatically closes any offer still pending on it and cancels any interviews that haven't happened yet.
