Notifications

SeyCareers sends email notifications to keep you informed about your account and activity on the platform, including:

• Registration and verification - a verification email when you register, so you can confirm your email address.
• Password resets - a reset link when you request one and a confirmation once your password has been changed.
• Application updates - confirmation when you submit an application and an update whenever its status changes.
• Review decisions - an update when profile information, CVs, skills, qualifications, work experience, job listings or company details you've submitted are approved or need changes.
• Messages - an alert when you receive a new message from another user.
• Subscriptions - a message to an employer when a subscription request is approved or not approved, and reminders when a subscription is expiring or has expired.
• Job listing expiry reminder - a reminder sent to employers the day before one of their job listings is due to expire.

Viewing your notifications

Every notification is also kept in your notification centre, accessible from the notification bell in the header, so you have a running history to refer back to and not just the emails as they arrive. You can mark notifications as read from there.

Grouped review updates

If you have several profile updates, for example changes to your skills, work experience and qualifications, reviewed by SeyCareers around the same time, you may receive a single summary notification covering all of them, rather than a separate email for each one.
