Manage Your Job Postings

Last Updated: September 2026

Closing a job

You can close a published job post yourself at any time, stopping new applications from coming in. This is immediate and doesn't require review.

Closing date

Every job has a closing date, up to 30 days after you publish. The job closes automatically on that date, and we email you a reminder the day before.

If SeyCareers unpublishes a job

If there is a problem with a live job, we will unpublish it and tell you why. It then shows as Rejected with the reason. Edit it to fix the problem and publish it again.

Reopening a job

A job you've closed can be reopened, as long as its posting period hasn't already expired. Once a job's posting period ends, it's shown as Expired and can no longer be reopened.

Job performance

A job post's own page shows how it's performing, which includes its views, how many jobseekers have saved it, its applications and a full activity timeline from creation onward.
